I function better being totally spontaneous. When I organize and plan, I feel that my creativity is being lessened unless I trick my self of a fake deadline to be able to see the planning as the actual thing.
I just subscribed to a new phone plan. I did not plan it. I did it because it was the right thing to do. Judith (My fiancee) lost her phone and I had to get a new one quick if I did not want the communication barrier to affect us.
I used to say I am like Jonah. I know what's the will of God for my life but I keep on denying it. Why? Because God's will is hard to picture into fruition. It's easier for me to think that I'll have a high paying job, get married, have kids then die than to serve God in the ministry for the rest of my life.
Here are some Google results from how God plans things out:

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.

Ephisians 1:5 says
he[a] predestined us for adoption to sonship[b] through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—
We can definitely say that God has the final authority on everything. That's why we have to submit to His will. Now many are afraid to submit to God's will but if they really understood the essence of God's will then they would not fear.
